Porous Paving Surface

Asphalt or concrete parking lots leave rainwater nowhere to go resulting in huge puddles and overloaded storm sewers. The pavers in our parking lot have spaces between them that allow water to filter back into the water table, instead of into the storm drain and eventually the bay. Much of the water not otherwise diverted by the porous paving surface is captured in planting areas surrounding the parking lots.
