Many traditional office buildings seal all their windows and are constantly either heating or cooling the same air. In the warmer months our windows open to let in fresh air and cooling breezes. In the winter, when they are closed, their energy efficiency insulates against extremes of temperature and reduces the need for heating with its attendant financial and environmental costs.
